Event Details

January is a great time to set goals for your creative projects. The bustle of the November/December holiday season has passed, and the new year beckons like a fresh, blank canvas. How do you want your canvas to look at the end of 2012?

Writer and Regional Advisor Shannon Morgan will share tips for setting short-, mid-, and long-range goals; using social and incentive strategies to keep you motivated; and tracking your progress using online and offline tools.

While much of publishing is out of our hands, the creative work behind it rests squarely on our shoulders. Join us in January to get your 2012 canvas started!

10:00 am - 11:00 am  Meeting

11:00 am - 12:00 pm  Open Critique Groups

To participate in open critique groups after the meeting, bring up to 5 pages of critique-ready work (4 copies) to share. Bring fiction, nonfiction, illustration, poetry, synopses, query letters, or any other children's literature work you'd like to get feedback on.

Please RSVP by registering above, free of charge. Thanks!
